My wife and I want to start trying to conceive in January.

She is on the pill right now and plans to go off it November 1st.

She will be off the pill two months when we start trying to conceive.

Will this be enough time?
She has been on the pill for 5 years.

One Response to “How long should you wait to conceive after going off the pill?”

  1. It is usually recommended that you are off 3 months before trying to conceive, however I have heard of people being off 2 months or even sooner and having no problems conceiving, another factor to be considered is how long she has been on oral contraceptive, her age and health…make sure she begans to take prenatal vitamins (these can be purchased over the counter) when she stops the oral contraceptives, this will make her hormones stronger/help her egg count build —thereby making it easier for her to conceive—this works well for women over 30 !!
