I am 24years old and in the process of trying to conceive with my husband, I stopped birth controls Oct 2009 and I am so ready to start a family. For the women who have kids, do you really have to lay down for 20-30 minutes with your hips elevated? Also, any tips on how to get pregnant quickly.

It is a good idea to stay layed down for 20-30 minutes, but keeping your hips elevated for that long isn’t necessary.
Both times I have been pregnant have been when me and my partner have been very healthy! The first time we were both exercising and eating well on a regular basis and this time around I was training for the Paris marathon (so it scuppered my plans, but I was very happy about it) as was he. So the best advice I can give you is to treat your body like a temple and it should happen.
Also, if you aren’t already, take folic acid every day.
